How we work

A seven-phase system, four contracting models, and a review chain no document avoids.

Every intervention runs on IMPACTO: concrete deliverables, defined owners, and measurable advancement criteria. The system is calibrated to each client’s context while its principles and standards stay invariable.

The seven phases of IMPACTO

Each phase closes with a deliverable and an owner. No phase opens before the previous one has produced evidence of what was completed.

I

Immersion

Listen before acting

Client alignment. We understand the institutional, regulatory, and operational context, and establish protocol, confidentiality, and communication channels.

M

Mapping

See what others do not

High-precision diagnosis. We identify gaps, risks, and opportunities with technical evidence and a compliance focus.

P

Projection

Design for execution

Architecture of the plan: measurable objectives, timeline, owners, indicators, and risk assessment.

A

Activation

Where we make the difference

Execution and program management. We coordinate actors, supervise progress, and resolve obstacles in real time.

C

Communication

Radiate the impact

We articulate the project’s narrative to internal audiences, communities, funders, and institutional peers.

T

Traceability

Control, measure, strengthen

Active monitoring, capacity building, and complete documentation. We build the client’s capacity to operate with autonomy.

O

Outcome

The legacy that endures

We formalize systems, document best practices, and establish the mechanisms of sustainability.

How we contract

Choosing the model is not an administrative matter: it determines how risk is distributed between the firm and the client. In every case the proposal details what is included, what is not, who executes, and on what timeline.

Total Engagement Estimate

A global amount for a complete, defined scope. The client knows the total cost from the outset and the firm assumes the risk of the estimate.

Hourly Rate

Billing by professional profile and hours actually worked. Maximum flexibility when the scope may vary.

Phases & Deliverables

The engagement is divided into stages, each with its own deliverable and price. The client evaluates at the close of each phase before committing to the next.

Fixed Project Price

A closed price for a defined product. Appropriate when the deliverable is concrete and its scope admits no interpretation.

Our quality standard

No document leaves White Canvas without passing through this chain. We publish it because our clients have a right to know what stands behind what they receive.

1

Document type

Every engagement begins by defining what the document is, because the type determines structure, tone, sources, and citation.

2

Double source validation

No figure, quotation, or regulatory reference enters without being verified against a primary source.

3

Review by specialty

Every area that participated reviews before delivery, with a defined role and responsibility.

4

Final review of form

An editing layer verifies margins, typography, tables, coherence, and numbering.

5

Standardized citation

Bluebook adapted to Puerto Rico for legal work; APA for everything else.

6

Confidentiality

Information, data, and decisions protected in writing from the Immersion phase onward.

Every engagement starts with the same first phase.

A no-cost initial conversation to understand what your organization is facing. If White Canvas is not the right firm, we tell you in that meeting.
